Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.
The short version
Guests’ photos never leave their device. Organisers’ projects are stored with their account. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Organisers: your email address, an optional name, and your password, which is stored securely by our sign-in service so we cannot read it. We also keep your projects: the event name, organisation name, flyer image, frame and text settings, and share message.
- Guests: your photo and the name you type are used only in your browser to make your DP, and are never sent to us. When you download or share it, it goes where you choose.
- Project statistics: we add up how many times a project link is opened and how many DPs are made, as simple totals. We do not record who did it.
- Messages: if you email us or use a contact or report form, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
To run accounts and projects, show a project page to people who have its link, answer messages, keep the site secure and improve our tools and guides.
Projects are public by design
Anyone with a project link can see its flyer, event name and share message, because guests need them to make a DP. Please do not upload anything private to a project.
Cookies and similar technologies
EveryEvents keeps your sign-in session in your browser, and saves a short list of your projects on your device to load pages faster. These are needed for the site to work.
Advertising
We may show ads from Google AdSense on some pages in the future. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We do not place ads on project pages created by users.
Services we use
- Supabase stores accounts and projects.
- Our hosting provider serves the website.
- Google Fonts provides fonts. Google may see your IP address when fonts load.
- jsDelivr delivers some of the code the site uses.
- Google may provide advertising, as described above.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and projects at any time by emailing us. You can also clear your browser data to remove anything saved on your device, and you can control cookies in your browser settings.
Children
EveryEvents accounts are for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
